The JBL SRX715 is a high-power, lightweight two-way loudspeaker system offering the highest level of performance available from a speaker that can be placed on a pole *or* standard speaker tripod stand. Although the SRX715 was originally comprised of a JBL 15-inch 2265H patented Differential Drive woofer which handles 800 watts (continuous), and a JBL 3-inch voice coil 2431H, neodymium compression driver, these components have been replaced in our speakers with much higher-end drivers. The woofer (low-frequency) is now an 18-sound model 15W700 and the high-frequency driver is a JBL 2452H, which is mounted to a JBL 75� by 50� aluminum horn.
Bi-amp *or* full-range passive operation may be selected by means of a recessed, high-current switch mounted on the input plate. For use on a tripod *or* over a sub-woofer, the 715 features a recessed dual-angle pole mount. This feature allows the speaker to be mounted in a vertical position *or* with a 10-degree down tilt for optimum audience coverage.

The JBL SRX815P represents the next generation of premium powered loudspeaker technology from JBL Professional. Featuring 3 inch voice coils, 2000 Watts of Crown Amplification, rugged enclosures with JBLs patented DuraFlex coating, and a full suite of on-board user configurable DSP, the SRX815P is a perfect all in one solution wherever high performance, comprehensive control, and pristine sound are required.
High frequencies are handled by an annular polymer diaphragm compression driver that features a best in class 3" voice coil coupled to a 1.5" throat opening. Using a neodymium magnet, the compression driver is lightweight, efficient, and extremely powerful. This delivers very high power levels with reduced distortion and increased phase coherence resulting in smooth, crystal clear high frequencies.
For low frequencies, the SRX815P uses a 15-inch woofer with JBL''s patented Differential Drive Technology for reduced weight while maximizing power amp efficiency. 3" voice coils and dual ferrite drivers deliver exceptionally low distortion and extended low frequency response.
The SRX815P features a full suite of onboard user configurable DSP including 20 PEQ''s, 2 seconds of delay, signal generators, input mixing, amplifier monitoring, and 50 slots for recallable presets, including 10 JBL-engineered application presets. In addition, the system is compatible with V5 JBL Tunings, and features 96kHz FIR Filters, and LevelMax(TM) Limiting providing compatibility with Vertec and VTX touring systems. All of this is easily controlled by Audio Architect, HiQnet Motion Control(TM) iOS app, and a standalone application for iOS, Android, Mac, and PC. Simple wired control is provided via an Ethercon connector on the back of the system and wireless control is possible using a standard off the shelf wireless router.

All-new cooling system
More power means more heat buildup, especially in a small enclosure. JBL's Thermomaster management system helps get rid of the excess heat while keeping the EON15 G2 compact and lightweight. Large heatsinks are too heavy and onboard fans are too noisy, so JBL engineers had to come up with a new cooling method. They decided, since the whole point of a speaker driver is to move air, why not use that principle to their advantage? The power amp is directly connected to an all-aluminum baffle, which provides structural support and draws heat away to special fins inside the acoustic ports. As air travels through the ports and across the fins, it naturally dissipates the heat, just like blowing on a spoonful of soup. When you crank up the volume, you're pushing more air. The heat just floats away on the breeze!
Improved mixing control
For singer/songwriters, folk duos, and other small groups, the EON15 G2's improved onboard mixer puts all your sounds together in a portable PA system. Input 1 is a professional-quality XLR connection with microphone/line selection. Inputs 2 and 3 are 1/4-inch TRS connections that add keyboards, guitars, drum machines, or CD/MP3 backing tracks to your vocals. Individual mixing controls and a two-band EQ let you blend and polish all the tracks as they travel to the speakers. With an EON15 G2 in one hand, a microphonerophone in the other, and a guitar slung across your back, you're ready to play anywhere.
Loop/mix output
In addition to the input mixer, EON15 G2 speakers have a balanced XLR loop/mix output to build a bigger system, should you need one. Let's say you've been asked to open for a band that has its own PA system. You've got vocals, guitar, and a drum machine, but the PA only has one unused channel. No problem. Tweak your sound using the EON G2's mixer, then push it all out to the PA's free channel. No one has to unplug or re-EQ, and everybody sounds their best. You can also use the loop/mix output to daisy-chain multiple EON speakers together. Use one as a monitor and a second as the front-of-house speaker, or use two EON's with a stereo effects pedal for ping-pong delay on your guitar. Since each cabinet is powered, you don't lose any volume when adding additional speakers.
